Eight undertrials from Rajasthan escape police custody in Gujarat
Ahmedabad, Apr 30 (UNI) Eight undertrials from Rajasthan escaped from police custody after breaking open the door of Visnagar police station.
Police said the undertrials, all from Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan, had been brought from Bardoli police station just a day before.
They escaped yesterday moring.
They had been arrested on charges of loot and committing highway robbery, the police said.
Lookout notices have been issued and district headquarters have been alerted, the police added.
