Civil aviation sector poised for enormous growth : Patel

Panaji, Apr 29 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel said the sector is poised to become a USD hundred billion industry within the next ten years.

Inaugurating the two-day Goafest, organised by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) in South Goa today, the Minister also called for exploring various avenues to make Goa a tourism hub in the country. The State's full potential needs to be tapped, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Wilfred D'Souza, who is also in charge of Tourism, urged the advertising industry to project Goa in the right perspective by exploring the hidden beauty of its hinterland and waterfalls.
