Azad urges separatists to attend PM's second round-table

Srinagar, Apr 30 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has urged all the separatist parties to participate in the second round-table conference called by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here in May keeping in view the present scenario.

''All those parties which did not attend the first round-table should participate in the second conference here in May keeping in view the present scenario,'' he told a public gathering at Kangan yesterday.

Mr Azad said this would go a long way in achieving the progress and prosperity of all the three regions of the state.

He said the Prime Minister had convened the first round-table in New Delhi at which several parties put forth their viewpoint.

''Since 1947, the people of the state have been putting efforts to find a durable solution to the Kashmir issue so that ''khushali and prosperity is achieved,'' the Chief Minister said.
