AR jawan injured in blast

Imphal, Apr 30 (UNI) An Assam Rifles jawan was injured in a blast at Moreh in Manipur's Chandel district today.

Police said details are awaited.

Meanwhile, the 'area commander' of the Revolutionary People's Front (rpf) was shot dead by a combined force of the Police and Assam Rifles at Laphupat Tera in an encounter yesterday.

Two other camps of the Peoples' Liberation Army were also busted, the SP of Imphal West said.

A large cache of weapons, documents, equipment were recovered from the two camps.
