8 die, six injured in separate road accidents
Ranchi, Apr 30 (UNI) Eight people were killed and six critically injured in two separate road accidents in Jharkhand today, police said.
A report from Dumka said three empoyees, including an assistant general manager of Bihar state food corporation and the driver of their vehicle died when their vehicle collided with a dumper loaded with stone at Sarasadangal, about 35 Km from here.
The deceased who were posted at Giridih, were proceeding from Dumka to Tarapith in West Bengal.
The victims were identified as Rajender Prasad, assistant general manager, Manoj Tewri, Ravindra Kumar Mishra (both employees of the corporation). The driver, Kishore Mahto died in the hospital, police said.
Another report from Lohardaga said four people died on the spot and six others were seriously injured when three trucks collided at Kandra.
Three of the four deceased were identified, police added.
