62 injured in road accident

Khargone, MP, Apr 30 (UNI) Sixty-two persons, including 12 children and 20 women, were today injured when a speeding bus overturned at Nimgul, 15 km from here, police said.

The bus overturned as its tyre suffered a puncture. The injured were admitted to private hospital besides district hospital.

The bus, carrying a marriage party, was heading from Rangaon to Mandaleshwar to take part in a mass marriage ceremony when the incident occurred between Nimgul and Jauhari. The bridegroom, Rajesh Bhatore, was also injured.

The bus driver is absconding.
