100 kg explosive seized, 1 arrested

Mahoba, Apr 30 (UNI) Police seized 100 kg explosive and arrested a person last night after raiding a house at brajpur in Kulpabad area of the district, police today said.

The house owner, Paramsukh, was arrested from the spot and was being subjected to intense interrogation, police said.

Hidden in hardboard cartons, the explosive is highly inflammable and is extensively used in making firecrackers, police added.

Investigation is on to ascertain the source of such a large quantity of illegal explosive.
