Top brass to campaign for BJP in TN
Chennai, Apr 29 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lined up its top leaders, including senior leader L K Advani and former test cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, to campaign for the May eight Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
Giving details of the tour programmes, BJP former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu told newspersons here that party leader L K Advani, who completed the first leg of his tour, would visit again tomorrow to campaign for candidates in Radhapuram, Nagercoil and Arantangi constituencies.
On May two, party leader and former Union Miniser Sushma Swaraj would visit the city, followed by Jharkhand Chief Minsiter Arjun Munda, who will campaign in Arur, Senthamangalam and Ramanathapurm areas on May three and four.
Former Finance and External Affairs Minister Yaswant Sinha would visit Tiruchirapalli and Coimbatore on May four and Mr Sidhu would visit Madurai on May one and two.
While Ravi Shankar Prasad would address an election rally in Kancheepuram on May two, senior leader Jaswant Singh will be in the city on May five.
Mr Naidu said after a road show in Coimbatore on May three, he would address a joint meeting with Mr Advani in Pondicherry on May four.
