New body for Calcutta Sports Journalists

Kolkata, Apr 29 (UNI) Members of the Calcutta Sports Journalists Club (CSJC) today elected their new executive body with president Gautam Bhattacharjee (Ananda Bazar) and Shuven Raha (Kalantar) as secretary for 2006-07.

After the Annual General Meeting, the members elected three vice presidents- S Sabanayakam (The Hindu), Tapan Dam (Pratidin), Manas Chakraborty (Ananda Bazar), assistant secretary Amitava Das Sharma (The Hindu) and tresurer Purnendu Chakraborty (Basumati).

The executive members are Manik Banerjee (Asspciated Press), Salil Naha ( Dainik Statesman), Samir Goshwami (Bartaman), Dhiman Sarkar and Atreyo Mukhophadhayaya (Hindustan Times), Saibal Bose ( Time of India) and Amerandra Chakraborty of Ganashakti.
