More than 300 huts burnt in blaze

New Delhi, Apr 29 (UNI) More than 300 huts were burnt in a fire which raged through Yamuna Pushta area of East Delhi this evening.

However, no one was injured in the blaze which began at about 1945 hrs, according to the Fire Brigade.

Twenty-two fire tenders battled for about one-and-half an hour to bring the fire under control which erupted at Shakarpur's Thokar No 8, near the 'chungi'.

''By 2130 the operation was over. No one was reported injured,'' the fire brigade added.
