Mercury rises to 41 deg C, showers due in next two days
New Delhi, Apr 29 (UNI) Delhiites today continued to experience scorching hot weather conditions despite a fresh phase of Easterly winds blowing through the capital.
Despite the cool winds, the maximum temperature in Delhi rose to over 41 degree C today, from 40.5 degrees C yesterday.
Even the minimum temperature recorded a rise to 24.7 degrees C, from 24.5 degrees C yesterday.
Some relief from the scorching weather conditions could, however, be in offing in the coming days with the weather office predicting a partly cloudy sky, accompanied by thundershowers and squalls in some areas.
The maximum temperature is expected to be 41 degrees C tomorrow, they said.
The weather office has also forecast some showers for Monday.
The relief from hot weather is, however, expected to be temporary with the weathermen predicting a rise in maximum temperature to 42 degrees C on Wednesday and the minimum to 25 degrees C on that day.
