LJP promises to solve unemployment problem

Pondicherry, Apr 29(UNI) The Pondicherry Unit of the Lok Janshakthi Party(LJP) today promised to resolve unemployment problem in the Union Territory, if voted to power.

Talking to newspersons here Mr Paswan said the party is contesting 16 seats in Assam, nine in West Bengal in alliance with Congress, six in Kerala and 35 in Tamil Nadu.

LJP is contesting four seats in the Union Territory.

In its election manifesto released by Ramachandra Paswan MP today, the party also promised to set up a seperate city for physically handicapped persons here on the lines of the one in Jaipur and Gujarat.

Job opportunity to mill workers, 13 percent reservation for Muslims and Christians, reservation in private industrial units, were among other promises given by the party in its manifesto.

The party would extend support to the Congress, in the event of its victory from any constiteuncy, he added.
