Jeev moves up to tied 4th in The Crowns

Nagoya, Japan, Apr 29 (UNI) Winner of the China Open, Jeev Milkha Singh's second successive round of 69 kept him in the hunt and the Indian pro finished tied fourth with one more round to go in the 12 million yen The Crowns tournament at the Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course here today.

Jeev, who kicked off his campaign with a scintillating six-under 64, followed it with identical rounds of 69 and is now at tied fourth with eight-under 202.

It was an eventful front nine for Jeev, leader of the UBS Order of Merit and winner of the China Open, who dropped a couple of bogeys on the second and eighth but made up for the loss with birdies on the fifth, sixth and ninth to put himself back on the track and then fired a string of par shots to finish his back nine without any damage to the tally.

Shingo Katyama enjoys, at 18-under 192, enjoys a five-stroke lead over his nearest rival Nozomi Kawahara (197).
