Five-year-old boy run over

Jamshedpur, Apr 29 (UNI) A five-year-old boy was run over by a truck at Bhuiyandih in Sitaramdera police station area here today.

Police said the boy died on the spot and the driver of the truck was caught by the local people. However, the driver managed to escape later.

The angry mob staged a road blockade after the accident and demanded adequate compensation to his family.

Police has seized the truck and sent the body for postmortem.
