DVAC arrests two Madras varsity employees
Chennai, Apr 29 (UNI) The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) has arrested two employees of Madras University in connection with the examination answer paper racket at the varsity recently.
Chandrababu, an office assistant at the University and Ansar Ali, a commerce professor in a private college at Melvisharam, who also runs a tutorial college in the city, were later remanded to judicial custody, DVAC sources said.
Meanwhile, Ameen-ur-Rehman, who was caught on tape accepting money from a student by a private television channel, has moved Madras High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
