Alok Industries net rises 10 pc for Q4 FY 05-06

Mumbai, Apr 29 (UNI) Indian textile major Alok Industries Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 34.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 31.03 crore for the corresponding quarter ended March 31 showing an increase of 10.55 percent.

Company's total income for Q4 FY 05-06 has also increased to Rs 409.24 crore from Rs 378.61 crore in Q4 FY 04-05 showing an increase of 7.48 per cent, a company release to the BSE today said.

Alok Industries net profit for the year ended March 31 FY 05-06 grew by 19 per cent to Rs 110.19 crore as compared to Rs 89.25 crore for the compareable period of the FY 04-05.

Also the total income has increased from Rs 1230.87 crore in FY 04-05 to Rs 1422.45 crore for FY 05-06 showing a rise of 13.46 per cent the release added.
