9 member Parliamentary delegation to visit US

New Delhi, Apr 29: A nine member Parliamentary Delegation, will pay a weeklong visit United States of America from April 30.

The visit organised by the Confederation of the Indian Industries (CII), intends to build stronger partnership on mutual trust and understanding between the two countries in the field of economic and trade relations. The places the delegation is scheduled to visit include Atlanta, New York and Washington D C. In Atlanta the delegation will call on US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on May 2 to discuss topics of mutual interest.

The other members of the delegation are Mr B J Panda, Mr Shahid Siddiqui and Ms Prema Cariappa (from Rajya Sabha), Mr Deepender Singh Hooda, Mr Madhu Goud Yakshi, Mr Manvendra Singh, Ms Preneet Kaur, Mr Sachin Pilot and Mr Suresh Prabhu (from Lok Sabha).
