30th Matri Shree media awards function tomorrow

New Delhi, Apr 29 (UNI) Twenty-seven select journalists from the print and electronic media will be felicitated at the 30th Matri Shree media awards function tomorrow.

Prakash Jha's 'Apharan', which had been declared as the best movie of the year, would also receive a special award.

United News of India General Manager M K Laul would give away the awards to the recipients at the Russian Cultural centre here.

Besides journalists, Mr M Jamshed Alam Choudhry has been chosen for the award for his contribution in the field of social service while Mr Raj Khurana had been selected for his contribution to labour services.

Hindustan Times Political Editor Pankaj Vohra would preside over the function. Prominent among others who would attend the function are Punjab Kesari News Editor Mahender Khanna.
