Parliament session in Nepal gets delayed
Kathmandu, Apr 28: Uncertainty continues to prevail as the Parliament session in Nepal has been delayed despite all MPs present.
All leaders of the seven-party alliance have arrived except Prime Minister-designate Girija Prasad Koirala.
According to MPs, the session will not last long and four resolutions including commitment of members to a Constituent Assembly, honouring all those who were killed or wounded during the agitation and action against officials who resorted to repressive measures during the 19-day stir are likely to be tabled.
The leaders have also said they will not take any parliamentary allowance or benefits for the time Parliament was under suspension.
The Nepali Congress members were seated on government benches and four other constituents of the SPA were on opposition benches.
