Amarinder announces Rs 50,000 for each injured in bus tragedy

Chandigarh, Apr 28 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh announced financial help of Rs 50,000 and free medical treatment to each injured in bus fire at the Jalandhar City Bus Stand this afternoon.

Expressing a deep shock and sorrow over the tragic incident, Capt Singh directed the Civil and Police Administration of Jalandhar district to extend all possible help and medical aid to the victims on top priority basis.

Food and Supplies Minister Avtar Henry reached the spot and visited the local hospital to enquire about the well being of the injured.
