UP gears up to counter depleting law and order situation

Meerut, Apr 27 (UNI) Director General of Police (DGP) Bua Singh today warned that officials and police personnel suspected to have ties nexus with criminals will be removed from service.

Talking to mediapersons here, the DGP asked the police to function efficiently or face suspension. The alleged officers could also face imprisonment, he warned.

Talking about the increase in ISI activities in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Singh informed media persons that an STF squad has been set up to curb such activities.
