Scouts and Guides building character of children: LG

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) Delhi Lt Governor B L Joshi today said Bharat Scouts and Guides have been catalytic in character-building and overall development of children.

Speaking at the Annual Rajya Puruskar Rally of Delhi State Bharat Scouts and Guides, he exhorted educationists and school heads in the capital to promote scouts and guides activities in their schools.

Mr Joshi gave away awards to scouts and guides who had dedicated themselves for realising the aims of the institution.

A cultural show was also presented by children on the occasion.

Also present on the occasion were Delhi State Bharat Scouts and Guides President Sachin Pilot, National Commissioner L M Jain and State Chief Commissioner Manik Barsaley.
