Npcc wants removal of Rio and Shurhozelie
Kohima, Apr 27 : The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has urged Governor Shyamal Datta to remove Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Planning Minister Shurhozelie immeidately from their offices for thier alleged failure to uphold the oath of allegiance under the constitution of India.
Expressing concern over the media reports where in Mr Shurhozelie had appealed the Nagas to refrain from activities that were dividing the people like present election system of India and prefer to the unanimous selection of the Naga traditional system.
The NPCC also questioned the sincerity of Mr Shurhozelie towards solving the Naga political issues and also if at all the Nagaland Peoples" Front (NPF) was concerned over the division within the Naga people, maintaining that though the NPF leaders feel that completing three years of office was beyond their expectations to remain in office.
