Koirala to take oath as Prime Minister of Nepal tomorrow

Kathmandu, Apr 27 (UNI) President of Nepali Congress Girija Prasad Koirala who was today appointed the Prime Minister of Nepal will take his oath of office tomorrow morning.

The Nepali Parliament will reconvene at 1300 hrs in the day.

Mr Koirala will be sworn in at 0900 hrs.

The Nepali Congress had earlier sent official communication to King Gyanendra about his election as Legislature Party Leader. He was elected unanimously to the post at the meeting of the Legislature Party presided over by general secretary Sushil Koirala at the Singh Darbar complex.

The 82 year-old leader was unanimously nominated as the Prime Ministerial candidate by the Seven Political parties on Tuesday.
