TAJ GVK FY05-06 profit up by 110 pc at Rs 46.28 cr

New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) TAJ GVK Hotels and Resorts Ltd today announced that it has registered a net profit of Rs 46.28 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 with a growth of 110 per cent as against Rs 22.09 crore reported in the previous year.

The company also said it has recorded a 63 per cent increase in its sales turnover at Rs 189.39 crore, in a release issued here.

The company has also hiked the dividend to 100 per cent for 2005-06 from 45 per cent in 2004-05.

TAJ GVK is a joint venture between the Tata group and the GVK group.
