Prominent businessman murdered in Patna

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) A prominent businessman, Shailendra Kumar Singh, was shot dead near a petrol pump under Kankarbagh police station area here today.

Police Superintendent (City) Vikas Vaibhav said here that few criminals pumped bullets into the businessman when he was passing through the Kankarbagh main road on his car.

Mr Vaibhav said the deceased owned an iron shop at Kadamkuan mohalla in the state capital. However, the criminals left Rs 1.5 lakh untouched, sources said.

An intensive search operation was on to nab criminals.
