LJP MLA acquitted in tripple murder case
Jamshedpur, Apr 26 (UNI) Additional distrIct and sessions judge of Jamshedpur court P P Pandey today acquitted the Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) MLA Rama Singh and three others in a tripple murder case at Jugsalai area here in 1989.
Apart from Rama Singh, an MLA from Mahanar in Bihar, the court also acquitted Kallu Singh, Parash Nath Singh, Sunil Singh for lack of evidences against the accused of the sensational murder case in which Congress leader Pradip Mishra and two gangsters Anand Rao and Janardan Choubey were gunned down.
Controversial RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin was the fifth accused in the murder case but he was not acquitted as he failed to appear before the court.
The court fixed a separate hearing for Mr Shahabuddin.
