Kaviyur Ponnamma wins lifetime achievement award

Kochi, Apr 26 (UNI) Noted cine artiste Kaviyur Ponnamama was today chosen for lifetime achievement award for her peformances in tele-serials through gallop polls among the viewers.

Ormma' (memory) was chosen the best serial and its director K K Rajeev was adjudged the best director as the Minnale TV Awards' by the cultural organisation Pegasus' were announced here today.

Suresh Krishna (actor), Lena (actress), Ranjini Jose (singer), Sajan Palluruthy (anchor), Bency Ayyampilly (news reporting), Lakshmi (news presentation) and Manikuttan (most popular artiste) are also among the winners.

The awards comprising citations and mementos would be presented at a mini-screen award night here on April 30, organising chairman Ajith Revi told a press conference.
