Haryana bans sale of Belgian NPK 20:20:20

Chandigarh, Apr 26 (UNI) The Haryana Agriculture Department has disallowed the sale of NPK 20:20:20 (100 per cent water soluble), imported by the Delhi-based Shriram Fertiliser and Chemicals from Belgium, in Haryana.

Director Agriculture R K Khullar said the decision had been taken following receipt of an intimation from the Union government of India that a sample of NPK 20:20:20 fertiliser imported by M/s Shriram Fertiliser and Chemicals was declared non-standard by Regional Fertiliser control Laboratory, Navi Mumbai with regard to total Nitrogen.
