Godrej Q4 results at Rs 29.6 crore, up by 17 pc
New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) today announced that its Q4 net profits has gone up by 17 per cent to Rs 29.6 crore for the quarter ending March 2006 as comapred to Rs 25.3 crore in the previous year.
The company also said its sales for the same period grew by 20 per cent from Rs 133.6 crore last quarter to Rs 160.4 crore this quarter and its Earnings per Share (EPS) improved from Rs 5.09 to Rs 5.34 but both figures have not been annualised.
The company's sales revenue for the quarter has increased by 18 per cent from Rs 138.5 crore to Rs 164.1 crore.
GCPL's net profit for the fiscal year ending March 2006 stood at Rs 120.2 crore from Rs 86.1 crore with a profit of 40 per cent.
Its total sales grew by 20 per cent to Rs 634.4 crore in March 2006 from Rs 528.7 crore last year.
The company recorded an annual sales revenue of Rs 657.3 crore as compared to Rs 562.7 crore, with a growth rate of 17 per cent.
GPCL's EPS has also improved to Rs 21.45 for the current year as compared to Rs 15.81 in the previous year.
