Dhampur sugar mills to set up 6000 tcd sugar plant

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh based Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd is putting up a greenfield sugar plant of 6,000 tons per day (tcd) and expanding existing capacities of sugar, power and distillery.

After the expansion, sugar capacity of the group will increase to 40,250 ton per day, distillery capacity to 140 kilo litre per day (KLPD) and power generation capacity to 119 mega watt (MW) with export of surplus power of 65 MW, a company release issued to BSE today said.

All the projects under implementation are progressing as per schedule, the release added.
