4-member Indian team to take part in Junior Asia/Oceania Davis Cup

New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) A four-member Indian team will leave for Kuching in Malaysia to take part in the Asia/Oceania Zone Junior Davis Cup tournament starting from May 1.

The seven-day tourney will see 22 teams -- Australia, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, China, New Zealand, Chinese Taipei, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Philippine, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Iran, Thailand, Japan, UAE, Korea, Uzbekistan, Malaysia and Vietnam, besides India -- vying for top honours.

Sriram Balaji, Vijayant Malik, Venket Iyer and Arun Kumar, who make up the Indian team, have been practicing at the DLTA complex here from April 24, an AITA release said here today.
