Visa bags South Asian sponsorship rights for champions Trophy

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) Visa today bagged the South Asian sponsorship rights for the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in India later this year and for the World Cup in West Indies, which officially makes it the ''Preferred Card'' for the two tournaments.

Visa will recieve on-ground sponsorship benefits in the region, following this sponsorship deal negotiated by Nimbus Sport, which is the exclusive marketing agency for the ICC's commercial arm Global Cricket Corporation, a release said here.

ICC President Ehsan Mani welcomed the deal and said, ''We are delighted Visa has joined the ICC's family of sponsors by becoming the official sponsor.'' UNI PM PDS GC1923
