Raje embarks on tribal areas tour to gauge popularity
Jaipur, Apr 25 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje began her four-day tour of state's tribal areas today to take stock of development work in these regions.
She will visit Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara and Chittorgarh districts and interact with the masses.
She will tour Jambua, Ogana, Mohammad Phalsia, Jhadol, Kolyari, Som in Udaipur district today.
According to sources, the tour is being considered a mid-term stock-taking exercise by the Chief Minister, who is also going to gauge her popularity and reach among the tribal people.
Mrs Raje will inspect roads, Ma Bari centres and meet health workers in the rural areas, apart from laying the foundation stone of a 132 KV grid sub station.
Some popularity sops, which will be announced during the journey will include distribution of cheques to farmers.
