Mizoram to set up 35 sports acadamies for school childrens
Aizawl, Apr 25 (UNI) Mizoram government, in association with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA), have established 35 sports acadamies in schools across the region.
SSA project co-ordinator Robert Romawia told UNI here today that 28 academies for football, four for Karate, two for boxing and one for Judo had been setup.
These acadamies would primarily nurture the talents of the young students, especially in the primary and middle school levels, he added.
''School students will learn from various coaches from these academies at a very young age'', he said.
Mr Robert said more than one thousand students hved already enrolled in the acdemies, he said.
