Militant among two killed, 30 injured and woman arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 25 (UNI) Two persons, including a militant, were killed and 30 others were injured while security forces arrested a a woman over ground worker in the Kashmir valley overnight.

An official spokesman said security forces and police in a joint operation arrested a woman over ground worker of militants Dilshada Banoo at Rajpora Zachaldara in the frontier district of Kupwara last night. One wireless set was seized from her possession.

He said security forces gunned down a militant in an encounter at Arin Shah Mohalla in north Kashmir last night. One AK rifle and other arms and ammunition were seized from the slain militant.

Militants shot at and wounded one Manzoor Ahmad at Shopian in south Kashmir last night. He succumbed to injuries at a hospital later.
