CPI lauds people of Nepal for their valiant effort
Kolkata, Apr 25 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) today congratulated the people of Nepal for their historical success against the country's "autocratic" monarch Gyanendra.
In a statement here, CPI state secretary Manju Kumar Majumder said the initial success of the Nepalese against the country's "autocratic" monarch Gyanendra would inspire democratic movement in this region.
He said the party had been supporting Nepal's seven-party alliance for their movement from the beginning and expecting that the understanding between the Maoists and seven-party alliance would help the former come back into the mainstream, he said.
