Biennal elections from LACs to Maharashtra legislative council
New Delhi Apr 25 (UNI) The Election Commission today announced biennial elections to the legislative council of Maharashtra from local authorities constituencies (LACs).
The term of office of six members of the Maharashtra legislative council from LACs are to expire on May 31 and June 21.
The polling will be held on May 26 and counting of votes on May 29.
The names of LACs are Raigad-cum-Ratnagiri-cum-Sindhdurg, Nashik, Wardha-cum-Chandrapur-cum-Gadchiroli, Parbhani-cum-Hingoli, Amravati and Osmanaad-cum-Latur-cum-Beed.
