One killed, 8 others, including 5 CRPF men injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 24 (UNI) One person was killed and eight others, including five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured in a grenade blast here today.
Official sources said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF vehicle near the shrine of Dastagir Sahib at Khanyar in the capital city in the afternoon.
They said a CRPF vehicle was damaged in the blast and nine others, including 5 CRPF personnel were wounded. Later one of the injured civilian died in the hospital.
A CRPF spokesman said militants hurled a hand grenade towards the ambulance of the CRPF causing injuries to four jawans.
The injured were hospitalised, he said.
