3 of family killed in road mishap

Mirzapur, Apr 24 (UNI) Three members of a family died on the spot when a speeding truck collided with their car in the Ahraura area of the district today.

Police said the car was coming from Varanasi when the incident occurred near Chahelwa hill.

The deceased were identified as Santosh (32), his wife Sunita (30) and daughter Pinki. The couple's two-yr-old son also sustained grievous injuries.

The truck driver managed to escape.
