UPA govt. has broken back of all sections, alleges Katiyar

Rae Bareli, Apr 23 (UNI) Rajya Sabha MP and firebrand BJP candidate for the May Eight Lok Sabha bypoll to Rae Bareli seat, Vinay Katiyar today alleged that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the centre had broken the back of all sections of society.

Addressing a meeting of local BJP workers here the frontal leader of temple movement said inflation has been on a steady rise during the UPA regime.

On the issue of AICC president Sonia Gandhi seeking re-election to parliament, Mr Katiyar said Ms Gandhi had not 'sacrificed' by resigning from the Lok Sabha. She resorted to this step for pre-empting the quashing of her parliament membership by the President on the office of profit issue, he added.
