Sans Rajnath Bharat Suraksha Yatra reaches Pilibhit

Pilibhit, Apr 23 (UNI) The much-hyped Bharata Suraksha Yatra was led into this district of Uttar Pradesh today by state BJP president Keshari Nath Tripathi, instead of party chief Rajnath Singh, who left the trek midway to rush to Mumbai yesterday, following attack on party general secretary Pramod Mahajan.

Later, addressing mediapersons here Mr Tripathi claimed that an overwhelming support for the party was palpable in all the areas of state where the trek ventured.

''People were fed up with both the UPA government at Centre and Samajwadi Party government in UP, besides opposition party BSP, and were reinforcing their faith in the BJP,'' he claimed.
