Rio expresses shock on Mahajan's shooting

Kohima, Apr 23 (UNI) Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today expressed shock at the shooting in which BJP leader Pramod Mahajan was critically injured in Mumbai yesterday.

Mr Rio said that such acts of violence deserved to be condemned by all sensible people. He conveyed his concerns and prayed for the early recovery of Mr Mahajan so that he can continue his "maxim in the service of the people".

Nagaland unit of BJP M C Konyak and spokesman O Mozamo Ngullie also expressed shock and prayed to the god for early recovery of the party leader.
