Pravin Mahajan mentally stable:report

Mumbai, Apr 23 (UNI) Contrary to the claims of his lawyer on his mental health, Pravin Mahajan, who is charged with attempted murder of his elder brother and BJP leader Pramod Mahajan,is mentally stable, a medical report by the J J Hospital has said.

Pravin was taken to State-run J J Hospital last night for a medical check-up where his state of mind was also examined.

According to the report, Pravin properly answered all questions posed to him.

Meanwhile, Pravin's wife Sarangi has told the police that when her husband left home in Thane yesterday at 0530 hrs, she thought he had gone for a morning walk. ''I did not know that he had taken his car and pistol with him. In the last one year, he has been mentally disturbed and would get angry at the slightest provocation,'' she said.
