Police claim to resolve several cases of theft, bag lifting

New Delhi, Apr 23 (UNI) Police today claimed to have resolved several cases of theft and bag lifting with the arrest of three people, including two Kashmiris, from South Delhi.

Praveen Kumar (25), Bilal Ahmed (30) and Riyaz Ahmed (30), receivers of stolen property, were arrested on Friday.

Police recovered 28 mobile phones, Rs 18,000 in cash and two gold chains from them.

During interrogation, Praveen Kumar revealed he used to supply stolen goods, including laptops and mobile phones, to Bilal and Riyaz, who used to sell them in Srinagar.
