One killed, IED explosion in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 23 (UNI) Militants killed a person while a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off without causing any damge in north Kashmir since last evening, official sources said today.

Militants kidnapped one Mushtaq Ahmad Baba from his residence at Drabgam in south Kashmir district of Pulwama late last night, they said, adding his bullet ridden body was recovered by the police today from Raknallah in the same area.

Militants detonated a powerful IED at Bhat Mohalla Pattan in north Kashmir's Baramulla district last night.

However, no loss of life or property was reported.
