One IRB jawan killed in ambush

Imphal, Apr 23 : An Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) jawan was killed in an ambush in Manipur's Bishenpur district yesterday.

Police here today said the armed militants fired a barrage of bullets on an IRB convoy, killing a jawan on the spot.

Four IRB personnel and a civilian were also injured in the ambush.

Massive manhunt had been launched to nab the ultras.
