Man's greed for money lands him in jail

Belgaum, Apr 23 (UNI) Police have arrested a man here for allegedly attempting to sacrifice his eight-year-old son in his greed to find a hidden treasure and four others for helping him.

Police said Prabhakar Koppikar had decided to commit the crime on the advice given by a black magician that he would find the hidden treasure in the backyard of his house at Hindalaga village, if he sacrificed his son.

With the help of four others, he made arrangements for the sacrifice.

Suspecting his actions, Koppikar's neighbours informed the police who arrested the culprits yesterday.
