Mahajan undergoing emergency operation

Mumbai, Apr 23 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, fighting for life after being shot by his brother, is being operated upon in Hunduja Hospital here tonight following a sudden complication in his kidneys.

Hospital sources said Mr Mahajan had to be taken for an emergency operation because of his failing kidneys. It is learnt that the sudden malfunctioning of his kidneys occurred due to some water infusion.

Senior Shiv Sena leader, Manohar Jhosi was seen rushing towards the operation theatre (OT) after Mr Mahajan had been wheeled into the OT.
