FIR against former chairman of co-operative bank
Nawada, Apr 23 (UNI) An FIR was filed against four people including former Chairman of the Bihar State Coperative Bank Narendra Kumar in connection with defalcation and forgery.
Official sources today said that the FIR was filed against the former Chairman, also a former MLA, with Town police station by a Branch Manger of the bank Jagdeo Prasad on the directive of District Magistrate of Nawada.
According to charges, a bank loan worth Rs 10 lakh was granted to a person for purchasing a bus which was never bought and the money was pocketed by the accused.
Former Managing Director of the Bank Vijay Kumar, Vice Chairman of the Bank Kavindra Deo and Director Nawal Kishore Singh had been named accused in the FIR.
